The Waggl Trifecta
Some say that good things happen in threes, and that’s certainly been the case for Waggl this quarter. And against the backdrop of the global Coronavirus pandemic, we are especially grateful for the uplifting news.
In the first quarter of 2020, Waggl received three major accolades for corporate culture and growth:
- Best Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area 2020. For the third consecutive year, Waggl has been honored by the San Francisco Business Times/Silicon Valley Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area 2020, ranking #8 for smallest companies.
- America’s Best Startup Employers 2020. Waggl has been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Startup Employers 2020. Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to identify the up-and-coming companies liked best by their employees in its inaugural ranking of America’s best startup employers. The list was compiled by evaluating 2,500 American businesses with at least 50 employees on three criteria: employer reputation, employee satisfaction and growth.
- The Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies 2020. Waggl earned the #45 spot on the Financial Times’ 2020 list of Fastest Growing Companies. The Financial Times list was compiled in partnership with Statista, ranking 500 businesses from across the Americas by Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in revenue between 2015 and 2018.
As always, Waggl is honored to be recognized for its achievements. In 2019 , we placed #15 on the San Francisco Business Times Fast 100 list. We also ranked 151 on the 2019 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States with three-year revenue growth of 2482 percent, placing 26 within California-based companies, 19 within software companies, and 10 within San Francisco companies. We were named “Employee Engagement Vendor of the Year” by the 2019 North American Employee Engagement Awards and recognized as a Top Workplace of 2019 by the Bay Area Newsgroup. The San Francisco Business Times/Silicon Valley Business Journal included us on their list of the Best Places to Work, with #2 ranking for wellness and the #10 spot for smallest companies. We were also recognized by the 9th Annual Best in Biz Awards as “Best Local Company of the Year” for the San Francisco Bay Area. Last but definitely not least, our fearless Co-founder and CEO, Michael Papay, was named as one of the “2019 Founders to Watch” by The Startup Weekly, a leading independent source of news and insights for business builders.
We hope you’ll forgive us for sharing some of our proudest accomplishments. Our belief is that, as businesses in the United States start to emerge from the COVID-19 crisis, maintaining an agile, engaged culture will be one of the most important predictors of continued business success. Organizations that commit to putting their people first by elevating Employee Voice will be on the right path to recovery.
As one of our favorite HR Tech industry analysts, Josh Bersin, puts it, “Waggl’s uniqueness lies in its ability to deliver action better than any other tool on the market by crowdsourcing information from employees. People know their work matters in shaping the future. This is the heart of Engagement 4.0.”
