Waggl wins Best Places to Work award for 2nd year in a row

This week, Waggl was honored by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal as a Best Place to Work in the Bay Area. Honorees celebrated last night at an awards event at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

At Waggl, we are small but mighty. Coming in this year at #10 in the smallest business category reminds us that we have an exciting journey of growth ahead of us. And being part of a group of 130 honored Bay Area companies that value their employees, and are valued by their employees, is humbling.

Most important to us about the Best Places to Work award is that it is entirely aligned with our Employee Voice values. Winners are determined by the employees of the companies entered. Thousands of Bay Area workers are asked to complete an employer assessment to measure their specific company on values including trust in leadership, collaborative culture, personal engagement, and satisfaction of individual needs through great benefits and perks.

In addition to our overall win, we are so excited to win second place in the Workplace Wellness category. Wellness and work-life balance is incredibly important to us at Waggl, and our incredible operations manager Meghan Gehle works wellness into the fabric of many of our collaborative activities as well as constantly inspiring us with new wellness challenges.

“Workplace wellness is a cornerstone of our culture at Waggl because our mission of bringing humanity to the workplace starts with genuinely caring about the physical, mental and emotional well-being of the people in our organization,” said Meghan. “Through initiatives such as company-wide nutrition challenges that our remote team can participate in virtually, as well as weekly onsite team workouts, we build camaraderie and support through our workforce.”

So, pardon our excitement, but we’re feeling great about this award, and about continuing our Waggl journey this year. We’ll be working to channel that excitement into a continuing commitment to our customers, our platform, and our employees.

Thank you SF Biz Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal! And thank you to everyone who has helped us to continually improve our Employee Voice offering, and most definitely to our incredible employees who make Waggl wonderful every day.

We’d love to help you put the voice of your people to work to better your organization. Contact us today to learn more.
